Domestic Adoption Services
An Open Door Adoption Agency has successfully placed over 1000
domestic children with loving adoptive parents. The agency provides
adoption services to birth parents of all racial and religious
backgrounds. An Open Door offers support, assistance and counseling to
domestic birth parents, ministering to their children through placement
in Christian families. It is our desire to help each birth parent find
the right adoptive family for their child.

The
agency also serves Christian prospective parents in the completion of
their families through adoption. Our experienced Adoption Consultants
and legal staff will guide adoptive parents through every aspect of
their adoption. We seek to help each parent find the right child for
their family.
Most of the children placed through our agency are either
Caucasian, African-American or mixed race, with occasional Hispanic
children. The majority are newborn infants. Since all children placed
with our private agency are voluntarily surrendered by the birth
mothers, they are usually surrendered at birth.
At present the agency has a very short waiting list for
African-American adoptive families in our African-American infant
program, and for young childless couples in our Caucasian infant
program. We welcome applicants to either program.
