The Children
The children that are available for adoption are placed in private foster care after their birth and are given excellent nurturing as well as good medical care during the adoption process.
As a result of the special care these children receive, children from El Salvador are generally as healthy as those born in the U.S. and do not have the attachment problems that can be common with adopted children.
One of the reasons for the popularity of this program is that it is one of the more affordable international adoption programs. It is also possible to adopt more than one child at a time for very reasonable additional fees.
