Parent Qualifications
Both Christian married couples and Christian single women may apply for adoption from Latvia; however, single women applicants are accepted on a limited basis.
Latvian qualifications for the age of parent vary by the age of the adoptive child. Both adoptive parents must be at least 18 years older than the child.
