Training is invaluable for helping you understand the international adoption process and preparing for your adoption. Other subjects include medical and emotional risks common to international adoption. You will also share the experiences of other parents who have successfully completed adoptions. Out-of-state adoptive parents may seek training from an international adoption agency or trainer near you.

Travel preparation
An Open Door will prepare a travel packet for you prior to your trip and will help in your preparation for travel. Be sure to apply for your passport well in advance, arrange inoculations and apply for a visa prior to travel.
