Travel Information
After the court approves your adoption, you will be advised as to when you can travel to Taiwan. There you will receive your child. The final paperwork for your child's immigrant visa is handled by you (with our facilitator's assistance) at the US Embassy in Taiwan.Then you will return home with your child.
Adoption Escort Service
Some families find they cannot travel to bring their little ones home. An Open Door has made arrangements for an Adoption Escort Service to provide safe travel to the nearest major airport.
