Hey Mama,
We would love to be able to tell you in person about our journey to adoption and hear what’s on your heart right now, but this letter and book will have to do. It would be our greatest joy, honor, and privilege to sit down with you, your favorite drink or snack, and get to know you. Maybe someday that will be a reality.
We may not know you yet, but we do know that you deeply love your child. You will have so many choices to make in the coming weeks and we admire your strength and courage. We cannot begin to imagine the thoughts, emotions, and sacrifices that will come your way. Whether you decide to parent or place, we have so much respect for you and trust that you will make the best decision for you and your sweet baby.

We are excited to add another child to our growing family and firmly believe that the Lord has called us to adopt again while our kiddos are still young. Our parenting journey has shown us that adoption isn’t as black and white as we originally believed. There is space for grief, joy, trauma, healing, loss, and beauty to exist simultaneously. Adoption is talked about openly and with deep respect in our home and has been since we brought our daughter home. We would love to send you letters and pictures, celebrate milestones and birthdays, call or FaceTime, and even visit you. We understand that some seasons will be easier than others for you to be involved in your child’s life and we want to follow your lead on this. You will always be an important part of your child’s life!
We may not know exactly what God has planned for our future or for yours, but we are stepping out in faith and obedience to Him. Our family is praying for you. That God will grant you wisdom and peace as you make these difficult decisions for you and your child. That He will provide what you need and sustain you. That you will feel confident and supported on this journey. Thank you so much for choosing the gift of life for your sweet baby!
All our love,
Kenton and Kristina
