Thanks for taking a moment to get to know us. We would love to tell you more about who we are, as a couple, and as a family. In all that is swirling around right now, we want to give you peace and reassurance, now and into the future. Whether it’s a picture every week for the first year, or something else, we have no doubt we can prove our commitment to your baby girl.
As you can see here, not only do we have a lot of love to share, but so much joy and laughter too.
On our first date, Fabin asked how many kids I wanted and my first thought was, “What? Why is he asking me this on day one?!” Well, I didn’t know it then, but he knew so early that he wanted to marry me. He was so funny and sweet. At the end of the night as we were eating ice cream together, I knew he was the one for me too.
We have two sons. Our first was adopted and is honestly, the sweetest boy. He is always sharing or looking after his younger brother. He has been telling his friends about how excited he is to have a baby sister and how he wants to play kitchen or barbies with her. Our youngest is not adopted, but understands adoption as we’ve taught both our kids about adoption over the years. He is very excited to become a big brother and is very good with his younger cousin.
More About Us
We are both government workers and our family goes to a church where there are many other families. Fabin is friendly, goofy, and goes with the flow. He watches many sports and plays pick up basketball. Rose is the creative and musical one. She plays the piano and guitar. We both joke around a lot and love seeing the kids enjoy new things like an afternoon nature walk or a bounce house at a friend’s birthday party. The kids visit their grandparents every other weekend and nothing beats the fun and food they have there.
Where Do We Live?
We live in a nice, quiet suburban area, but in a diverse area where there are many cultures and mixed families. On our block, we have so many kids their age that 3 of them are going to kindergarten at the same school and at the same time as our oldest son. We are 30 minutes from the city, so sometimes we go to the zoo or to museums there as well.
Adoption has always been part of the plan for our family as Rose’s sister was adopted and Rose’s cousins were adopted as well. Right now, our house is full of boy energy. We love it, but we know in our hearts that a girl would just complete our family. We have so many dreams and wishes for her and can’t wait to see her personality and how she shapes our family as well.
